FAQs

Thank you for considering supporting Operation Easter Bunny. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive about our project:

  • There are two main ways you can contribute: donate premade baskets or items for baskets that we can assemble, or donate money through PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Contact Danielle for more information.

  • We use all donation funds to purchase items to make baskets for kids, infants, and teens. We donate to a variety of locations, with a focus on children's hospitals. Due to health and safety concerns, we ask that baskets contain items other than candy. More information is provided below on the organizations we donate to.

  • Yes, you can make your own baskets! Some suggested items to include are coloring books, colored pencils, play dough, bubbles, dolls, race cars, character blankets, character pillowcases, candy, stuffed animals, and more.

  • Yes, we ask that all baskets be wrapped in cellophane to help us with organization and delivery. Also, please label the basket as Boy/Girl/Neutral and specify whether it is for infants or teens.

  • Every year, we try to add more baskets to our goal and expand the number of locations we donate to. Last year, we donated to every Ronald McDonald house, Banner Desert Children’s Hospital and Banner Thunderbird Pediatrics, Sunshine Acres, Sojourner Shelter, Child Crisis Center, and local foster homes, among others. For more information on the organizations we donate to, please see above.

  • You can become a drop-off point for baskets by allowing people to leave their baskets at your location. We can pick up the baskets when you have too many, or you can bring them to us. You can also offer to match a certain number of baskets donated with a basket or match a certain number of baskets donated to your location with a basket. In either case, we will thank everyone who donates and especially those who match. This can also be great advertisement for your business.

  • Operation Easter Bunny has been providing Easter baskets to children in need since 2010. The idea for the project came about when founder Mandie N.'s son was in the hospital and a nurse gave him an Easter basket, inspiring Mandie to ensure that Cardon’s Children Hospital would have plenty of baskets every year from that point on.

  • Our goal is to collect and donate 725 Easter Baskets this year.

  • Infants to 18 boys and girls. Infants and teens often get overlooked. Please label or let us know the age group when you drop off. Thank you!
